Recipe
- Preheat a large skillet with olive oil on medium-high heat. It’s important to preheat the skillet so the pork chops gets a nice brown crust as they cook.
- Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides and arrange them in the skillet so they aren’t touching. After a few minutes, flip them over to cook on the other side.
- Once they’re cooked through, remove them from the skillet. I like to put the chops together in a large piece of aluminum foil to keep them warm as I make the glaze.
- To make the glaze, in the same skillet you cooked the pork chops, melt the butter on medium heat. Scrape up the bits stuck on the bottom of the skillet. Don’t miss out on that flavor!
- Add the minced garlic and cook for a minute until fragrant.
- Add the honey, chicken broth and apple cider vinegar and increase the heat to medium-high, stirring occasionally until it becomes a thick glaze.
- Once the glaze is ready, add the pork chops, stir and flip them until they’re covered in the glaze. I like to take a spoon and drizzle it on top to ensure it’s all coated.
- Remove from the skillet and enjoy!

Honey and apple cider vinegar are two ingredients I love mixing together. The acid mixed with the sweetness of honey is great for cooking. These Honey Glazed Pork Chops are perfect for a weeknight dish. They take 15 minutes (depending on the thickness of the chops) and use one dish because you can mix the glaze right in the skillet. I used 6 thin cut chops for this recipe so if you’re going to use thicker chops, you may want to use a little more of the ingredients and they might need to cook a little longer.
Be sure as you cook the glaze, you don’t overcook or else the the consistency will be too thick. I cook the pork chops first so then when the sauce is ready, the chops just get added back into the skillet and coated in the glaze -then done! Perfect for a weeknight dinner!
