
Chili Cornbread Stacks
A crockpot chili with a delicious cornbread waffle underneath. This is something I crave in the fall.

Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 package of chili seasoning ( use Williams)
2 - 15 oz cans of tomato sauce
one can of kidney beans
one can of chili beans
Cornbread mix for the cornbread waffles
Recipe
- In a pot, cook your ground beef until it’s no longer pink.
- Add your package of chili seasoning (I use Williams) and stir it up.
- Add in the tomato sauce, kidney beans, chili beans and give it all a good stir.
- Let it simmer for at least 30 minutes.
- Before you serve, mix together your cornbread mix. Add the cornbread into the mini waffle maker. I make one mini cornbread waffle for each person.
- To serve, place a cornbread waffle on the plate. Then spoon chili on top and add your toppings. I like to use shredded cheese, red onion, sour cream and then green onion.
For the crockpot, add in the cooked, seasoned ground beef into the crockpot. Then add in the sauce and beans. Set it on low all day and it’ll be ready when you get home!
