Waffle and Berry Trifles

This is a great breakfast or brunch option when you have guests. It's so quick to make and you can customize the toppings however you want!

Cook Time

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 3 minutes
Total Time: 13-15 minutes

Ingredients

4 frozen waffles
2 cups greek yogurt
1/2 container of cool whip
1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
2 tsp chia seeds
2 cups chopped fruit (I used blueberries and strawberries)

Recipe

  • Put your frozen waffles in the toaster to cook.
  • While that’s cooking, in a bowl, mix together your greek yogurt, cool whip, mini chocolate chips and chia seeds.
  • To assemble, tear your waffle up into small pieces and place them at the bottom of the individual serving bowls.
  • Spoon a couple spoonfuls of the yogurt mixture on top of the waffles.
  • Add your fruit and enjoy!

These are great to make for holidays! I will make a little waffle bar so guests can choose what they want to put on top.
