
Sausage, Peppers and Rice Skillet

Ingredients
1 lb ground sausage
2 green bell peppers
2 garlic cloves
3 tbsp tomato paste
3 cups bone broth
1 box of long grain rice and seasoning packet
Recipe
- In a skillet on medium heat, brown your ground sausage.
- While that’s cooking, slice up your green bell peppers and your garlic.
- Once the sausage is browned, add in your green bell peppers. Let that sauté for a few minutes.
- Add in the garlic and tomato paste. Stir it around until it’s completely combined.
- Add in the bone broth, rice and seasoning packet and give it a good stir.
- Bring it to a boil. Reduce the heat and cover. Cook until the rice is completely cooked.
- Remove the lid and give it a stir.
- Serve it up!

This 30 minute meal is so simple and great for meal prepping. I use bone broth because of the great nutritional value, but you can substitute beef broth.
