Ingredients
4 slabs of salmon, cut into 2 inch chunks
wooden kabob sticks
4 tbsp olive oil (and extra for brushing)
1 1/2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp dried oregano
1 tbsp smoked paprika
2 tbsp ground cumin
2 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp minced garlic
Recipe
- I set my pellet griller at 375 degrees.
- While that’s heating up, I soak my wooden kabobs in water to keep the wood from burning on the grill.
- Cut your salmon pieces into 2 inch pieces.
- To make the marinade, mix 4 tbsp olive oil, brown sugar, oregano, smoked paprika, ground cumin, dried thyme, red pepper flakes, salt and minced garlic in the bowl. Stir it up.
- Add in the pieces of salmon to cover it with the marinade.
- Begin adding pieces of salmon to the wooden kabobs. Make sure that’s space between each piece so it cooks evenly.
- Put the kabobs on the grill. Let them grill for a few minutes and then flip them over. Grill for another few minutes. Continue grilling and flipping every few minutes until they’re cooked completely. Brush the kabobs with olive oil every couple flips so they don’t stick.
- Remove from the grill once they’re done and serve!
