1/2 cup soy sauce
3 tbs rice vinegar
2 tbs brown sugar
2 tbs cornstarch
1 tbs ginger powder
2 tbs minced garlic
3 cups broccoli florets
2 tbs olive oil
4 cups cooked brown rice
Recipe
- Add water to a pot and begin boiling your broccoli florets
- Heat your wok on medium high heat. Add the olive oil and flank steak. Lay it flat so it doesn’t overlap.
- While that’s beginning to sizzle, mix together the soy cause, rice vinegar, brown sugar, cornstarch, ginger and garlic in a small bowl. Pour half of the mixture in the wok and flip the steak strips.
- Drain the cooked broccoli and add that into the wok with the steak.
- Add the remaining soy sauce mixture to the wok and give it a good stir.
- Let it cook for about 2-3 minutes.
- To plate, place a spoonful of brown rice on a plate and add the beef and broccoli mixture on top.
